Memory Magic Videos

These are residents in a dementia unit in a memory care unit of a large CCRC in Northeast Ohio. This video models how to lead the interaction using the materials provided in the program. It also shows the normal interaction and positive affect that occurs during the activity.

Channel 3 News reported on the use of the Memory Magic™ Program at Arden Courts in Parma, Ohio. See interviews with the administrator and two creators of Memory Magic™, Dr. Ronni Sterns, President and CEO of Creative Action LLC and Dr. Harvey Sterns, Director of the Institute for Life-span Development and Gerontology at The University of Akron.

These are residents documented using the Memory Magic™ Program for the time. The video illustrates many of the Montessori principles that are incorporated into the therapy and how those elements help ensure successful outcomes and engaged participants.

Memory Magic is a unique therapeutic activity that combines general knowledge with reminiscence. Based on Montessori principles, the programme was developed to provide an interesting and entertaining activity for people with cognitive difficulties.
